Crafted from solid pine, this substantial vintage coffee table has been carefully refurbished while preserving the details that give it its individual charm. The chunky wooden top has been sanded back to reveal the natural timber before being finished with Colron Jacobean Dark Danish Oil, enriching the grain and providing a durable, hard-wearing surface. Rather than removing every sign of age, we've chosen to retain some of the original character marks that tell the story of the piece and perfectly complement its vintage style.

The base has been professionally painted in Sophie James Cove White, creating a soft neutral finish that works beautifully in both country homes and modern farmhouse interiors. To give the paintwork extra depth and authenticity, we've carefully applied Frenchic Browning Wax, producing a gently aged appearance that enhances the table's original craftsmanship.

One of the standout features of this painted coffee table is its generous built-in storage. Three full-width drawers — one large centre drawer and two smaller drawers — can be accessed from either side of the table, making it equally practical no matter where it's positioned in your room. Each drawer has traditional dovetail joints, reflecting the quality construction expected from vintage solid wood furniture.

Adding even more personality are the decorative ceramic details. Raised corner panels feature inset white tiles with an attractive purple pattern, while the metal drawer handles are finished with matching ceramic grips, creating a coordinated look that immediately catches the eye. These original features give the table a warmth and individuality that's impossible to replicate with modern flat-pack furniture.
