Vintage Linen Cupboard

Brimming with character and quiet elegance, this vintage linen cupboard dates back around 70 years and has been thoughtfully refurbished to celebrate its timeless craftsmanship. Once a dark wood piece, it has been carefully transformed using Frenchic’s Scotch Mist — a soft, chalky blue-grey that lends a fresh, understated look while still honouring the age and beauty of the original design.

The solid wood frame, complete with fluted columns and intricate carved details, has been gently sanded in all the right places to reveal the warm, natural tones beneath. The top and decorative accents have been lightened just enough to create contrast and depth, bringing out the cupboard’s unique character without losing its vintage soul. The dovetail joints on the two drawers — a hallmark of quality furniture making — have been painted by hand to highlight their craftsmanship, offering a subtle nod to the care and precision behind this piece.

For these locations shipping must be quoted before placing your order as the cost is considerably more to ship to these areas. We reserve the right to cancel any orders to Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands if a shipping quote is not obtained prior to ordering and the delivery cost is deemed unreasonable.

The UK Wide Delivery option is for the rest of mainland UK and Scotland. We will send furniture through a removals  van style service.
