Black and Pink Bureau Bookcase

This beautifully restored vintage bureau bookcase offers the perfect blend of elegance, practicality and timeless charm. Painted in Frenchic’s deep, velvety Blackjack on the exterior, it makes a bold statement while remaining effortlessly versatile. Inside, the bookcase and pull-down writing desk are finished in Dusky Blush, a soft pink contrast that adds warmth and character to the vintage piece.

The writing section opens smoothly to reveal a spacious desk surface, supported by two sturdy sliding arms. Inside, you’ll find pigeonholes and compartments in the original wood, paired with a central drawer finished in Dusky Blush for a subtle pop of colour.

Above, the glass-fronted bookcase with diamond leaded panels is fitted with height-adjustable shelves, making it ideal for displaying books, treasures or glassware. The left-hand door is secured neatly with two catches, while both the bureau and bookcase lock with their own individual keys.

As a final touch, the carved detailing has been highlighted with a gentle brush of Frenchic’s Frenshimmer in Champagne Rosie.

We reserve the right to cancel any orders to Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands if a shipping quote is not obtained prior to ordering and the delivery cost is deemed unreasonable.

The UK Wide Delivery option is for the rest of mainland UK and Scotland. We will send furniture through a removals  van style service.
