Bramwell Green Bureau

This vintage bureau has been sympathetically upcycled to celebrate its original character while offering a refreshed, timeless appeal. Finished in Bramwell Green by Rust-Oleum, the soft sage hue is complemented by subtle distressing and a rich dark wax finish, creating a naturally aged, heritage-inspired look.

The standout feature is the top drawer — meticulously stripped back to reveal intricate carved detailing in the raw wood, offering a warm contrast to the painted finish. The dovetail joints have been thoughtfully painted to highlight the piece’s original craftsmanship, a true nod to its quality construction.

Inside, the drop-down writing surface opens to reveal a series pigeonholes and compartments, all painted in the same serene tone for a cohesive finish. Ideal for storing letters, stationery, or small treasures, the interior balances form and function beautifully.

A decorative keyhole adds a touch of vintage elegance, though the original key is no longer present as it was kept by a family member of the previous owner as a memento of their time together. 

This one-of-a-kind piece would make a charming writing desk, hallway statement, or bedroom feature. With its subtly timeworn finish and carefully curated details, it's perfect for lovers of classic interiors with a story to tell.

We offer free UK delivery on orders over £199 (excluding Northern Ireland and Scottish Highlands). For these locations shipping must be quoted before placing your order as the cost is considerably more to ship to these areas. We reserve the right to cancel any orders to Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands if a shipping quote is not obtained prior to ordering and the delivery cost is deemed unreasonable.

The UK Wide Delivery option is for the rest of mainland UK and Scotland. We will send furniture through a removals  van style service.

Lovely product! Beautiful notebook with lined pages, a numbered section for your to do list and a blank space for anything else so very useful! 

I also love how they are made from waste products. I bought one made with coffee bean waste and one with kiwi fruit waste and they are produced with 100% green energy and 100% recycled paper so you can use them without the guilt!!
