Blue Dresser

This striking dresser, originally crafted in the 1960s, has been thoughtfully and artistically reimagined to bring character, history, and a deep sense of atmosphere into your home. Hand-painted in a rich, inky blue called After Hours, the finish is layered with both clear and dark waxes to create a surface alive with texture and tone. Areas of light and shadow appear to shift subtly across the paintwork—darker patches blending into lighter moments—giving the whole piece a gently aged, almost mystical quality.

Adding to its character, the dresser features ornate carved detailing and ridge accents, all of which have been highlighted in Rusty O’Bronze. This warm, burnished metallic adds definition and contrast in just the right measure—enough to catch the eye without overwhelming the overall elegance of the design. It’s a finish that feels both luxurious and grounded, lending the piece a timeless, lived-in charm.

The top of the dresser provides generous display space with two open shelves—ideal for styling with vintage crockery, books, framed photos, plants, or keepsakes. The lower section offers both drawer and cupboard storage. Three dovetail-jointed drawers (two wide and one narrow central drawer) provide smooth, sturdy storage for smaller items. Below, the two-door cupboard features internal shelves that can be removed, but sit at fixed heights—offering a practical layout for everything from linens to family games.
