Sophie James Paint is water-based, low odour and compliant with the UK Paint Directive 2012 for Low VOC products, containing no more than 10g of VOCs per litre. Orders are packed using recyclable and biodegradable materials wherever possible.

How to Use Sophie James Paint

Preparation is the key to achieving a long-lasting finish. Make sure every surface is clean, dry and free from grease, wax, polish and loose paint before starting. Wash with sugar soap where required, rinse thoroughly and allow the surface to dry completely.

Lightly sand smooth or glossy surfaces to improve adhesion before removing all dust.

Stir the paint thoroughly before use, then apply with a quality brush or roller. Two coats are recommended for most projects, although some brighter colours may require an additional coat for complete coverage.

Clean brushes and rollers with water after use and store any remaining paint in a sealed tin ready for your next project.
