Black Floral Bookcase 

This elegant bookcase has been carefully upcycled to create a one-of-a-kind storage piece with real character. Painted in Frenchic’s Blackjack, the deep black finish has been gently distressed and finished with wax to give it a beautifully aged, timeworn look.

Above the bookcase shelves, a slim shallow drawer with dovetail joints adds a touch of traditional craftsmanship, complete with brass-style handles. Sitting proudly on top, the dull red leather-effect backing with its floral detail has been softened with black wax to enhance the antique feel, making a lovely focal point sitting between the two acorn style spindles on either side. 

The lower section of the bookcase offers plenty of storage, with height-adjustable shelves to suit your needs. The back panel has been decorated with a delicate floral rub-on foil, blended seamlessly into the paintwork and lightly waxed to give a soft, vintage finish.

A practical yet striking piece, this bookcase works just as well for books as it does for displaying treasured objects. With its mix of bold black paint, subtle floral accents, and thoughtful detailing, it’s a versatile piece that brings a touch of character and charm to your living room, hallway or office space.

For these locations shipping must be quoted before placing your order as the cost is considerably more to ship to these areas. We reserve the right to cancel any orders to Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands if a shipping quote is not obtained prior to ordering and the delivery cost is deemed unreasonable.

Local delivery and furniture delivery within a 10 mile radius (of our address) will automatically be offered if your postcode is within the perimeter. These deliveries will be co-ordinated by ourselves.

The UK Wide Delivery option is for the rest of mainland UK and Scotland. We will send furniture through a removals  van style service.
