Vintage Singer Desk

There’s something deeply satisfying about giving new life to a piece with real history, and this beautifully restored vintage Singer sewing machine base is a perfect example. Once part of a hardworking sewing table, the original cast iron frame has been carefully refurbished and finished in a rich black paint, enhancing every curve and intricate detail of its iconic design while ensuring durability for years to come.

The elegant treadle and wheel remain as a nod to its heritage, adding both visual interest and a sense of story to the piece. These original features, once powered by hand and foot, now stand as sculptural elements—celebrating craftsmanship from a bygone era while seamlessly fitting into a modern home.

Topping the base is a solid wood surface, repurposed from what was once a dining table and finished with Jacobean Dark Oak Danish oil.
