Vintage Sewing Box Side Table with Hidden Storage

Give your home something a little different with this beautifully upcycled vintage sewing box side table. Originally designed as a sewing cabinet, it has been transformed into a stylish piece of occasional furniture that offers discreet storage alongside eye-catching design.

The table has been professionally painted in Frenchic Blackjack, creating a rich black finish that perfectly complements the metallic detailing. Delicate leaf stencils have been applied to the top using a combination of Sophie James Gold and Frenchic Frenshimmer Golden Oldie, adding warmth and subtle shimmer without overpowering the design.

Lift the lid to reveal a spacious felt-lined storage compartment complete with its original removable organiser tray, ideal for keeping sewing accessories, craft supplies, stationery, jewellery or everyday household items neatly organised. A generous felt-lined drawer beneath provides even more hidden storage, making this a practical addition to a living room, bedroom, hallway or craft room.

The original wooden organiser tray, drawer handle and feet have all been finished in Sophie James Gold to complement the decorative stencil work and give the piece a cohesive, contemporary appearance.

I also love how they are made from waste products. I bought one made with coffee bean waste and one with kiwi fruit waste and they are produced with 100% green energy and 100% recycled paper so you can use them without the guilt!!
