Sophie James Paint is water-based, low odour and manufactured to comply with the UK Paint Directive 2012 for Low VOC products, containing no more than 10g of VOCs per litre. Wherever possible, orders are packed using recyclable packaging and biodegradable packing materials.

How to Use Sophie James Paint

For the best results, begin by making sure every surface is clean, dry and free from grease, polish, wax and loose paint. Wash with sugar soap where required, rinse thoroughly and allow the surface to dry completely before painting.

Lightly sand glossy surfaces to improve adhesion before removing all dust.

Stir the paint thoroughly before use and apply with a quality brush or roller. Two coats will produce the best finish on most projects, although some colours may require an additional coat depending on the surface and the depth of colour required.

Once you've finished, clean brushes and rollers with water and reseal any unused paint ready for your next project.
