This beautifully restored William Lawrence mid-century sideboard has been professionally hand painted to create a timeless statement piece that blends classic design with contemporary style. Finished in Barham Sage by Sophie James Decor, the soft sage green complements the warm natural wood veneer, creating an elegant two-tone finish that works beautifully in both modern and vintage-inspired interiors.

Rather than painting every surface, we carefully preserved the original wood veneer on the drawer fronts, cupboard interiors and sculptured handles. This allows the natural grain to remain a key feature, showcasing the craftsmanship and character that make quality mid-century furniture so desirable. The contrast between the painted body and the warm wood veneer gives the sideboard a fresh new look while respecting its original design.

Designed with both style and practicality in mind, this vintage sideboard provides generous storage for everyday living. Three central drawers offer ample space for table linen, paperwork or household essentials, with the top drawer retaining its original removable cutlery tray. Either side are spacious cupboards with internal shelving, while the raised display section incorporates additional cupboards and open shelving, making it ideal for displaying decorative accessories, books or glassware. A distinctive pull-down cupboard door adds another authentic mid-century design feature that reflects the quality craftsmanship of the period.
